IRISH LAND COMMISSION. 25/06/1925: LAND HOLDINGS - REGS. FOR REGN. OF TEMP. SUB-DIVISION

Section 65 (3).

(Regulations for registration of temporary sub-division of holdings made the twenty-fifth day of June, 1925.

1. The Land Commission pursuant to Section 65 (3) of the Land Act, 1923 , hereby authorises the Registering Authority to register the ownership of or burdens on a holding arising under an instrument executed by the proprietor notwithstanding that a sub-division of the holding is thereby created, where it is shown to the satisfaction of the Registering Authority that the subdivision is for a temporary purpose and has been made for the benefit of the proprietor or his family, or of some or one of them, or for some similar reason, and that the security for payment of the Land Purchase Annuity will not thereby be diminished.

2. The Authority hereby given is subject to the condition that, in any case in which a person is registered as limited owner of a part of a holding in exercise of the authorisation, a note shall be entered on the register that the consent of the Land Commission to the sub-division created is only for the limited period specified.
