DEPARTMENT POSTS AND TELEGRAPHS.

THE INLAND POST AMENDMENT (No. 28) WARRANT, 1925, DATED 23rd DECEMBER, 1925.

I, the Minister for Finance of the Irish Free State in exercise of all the powers now vested in me by the Post Office Acts, 1908 to 1920, the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 , the Ministers and Secretaries Act, 1924 , and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do, by this Warrant, made on the representation of the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (testified by his signing the same) order, direct, and declare as follows:—

(1) This Warrant shall be read as one with the Inland Post Warrant, 1903, and all Warrants amending the same.

(2) Regulation 2 (ii.) of the Inland Post Amendment (No. 25) Warrant, 1924, shall be read and take effect as if the following paragraph were inserted after paragraph (c) of that regulation—

(d) a parcel which consists merely of an empty receptacle which had previously been forwarded, containing eggs, to an address outside Saorstát Eireann and is being returned to the original sender subject, in this case also, to such regulations and limitations as the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs may prescribe.

(3) This warrant shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1926.

(4) This warrant may be cited as "The Inland Post Amendment (No. 28) Warrant, 1925."
