Firearms (Temporary Provisions) (Continuance) Act, 1925

Continuance of regulations made and licences issued under Temporary Act.

2.—(1) Every regulation made under the Firearms (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1924 (No. 9 of 1924), which is in force on the 4th day of April, 1925, shall (subject to any amendment or variation made therein under the said Act) continue in force until the same is revoked under the said Act or until the 31st day of July, 1925, whichever shall first occur.

(2) Every firearm licence issued under the said Firearms (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1924 , or any regulation made thereunder which was not revoked or cancelled before the passing of this Act shall, without the payment of any additional fee, but subject to any variation lawfully made therein, continue in force from the date named therein for the expiry thereof (whether such date is before or after the passing of this Act) until such licence is revoked or cancelled under the said Act or regulations or until the 31st day of July, 1925, whichever shall first occur.
