LOCAL OFFICES AND EMPLOYMENTS (AMENDMENT)ORDER, 1924.

No. 52,677/1924.

WHEREAS by the Local Offices and Employments Order, 1924, (hereinafter referred to as "the Order of 1924"), I, the Minister for Local Government and Public Health, did, in pursuance of Section 15 of the Local Government (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923 , apply the provisions of the said section to the offices and employments set out in the Schedule to the Order of 1924 and did make certain regulations with respect to the said offices and employments:

AND WHEREAS it is expedient to exclude from the operation of the Order of 1924, the offices or employments hereinafter mentioned:

NOW, THEREFORE, I, the Minister for Local Government and Public Health, in exercise of the powers vested in me, by Section 15 of the Local Government (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923 , and of all other powers in this behalf enabling me, do by this my Order, order and direct as follows, that is to say:—

1. The provisions of the Order of 1924, shall as from the date hereof cease to apply to any office or employment under a committee or joint committee appointed for the purposes of the Technical Instruction Act, 1889, or the Agriculture and Technical Instruction (Ireland) Act, 1899.

2. This Order may be cited and referred to as the Local Offices and Employments (Amendment) Order, 1924.
