ORDER, COUNTY BOARDS OF HEALTH.

To each County Board of Health; and to all whom it may concern:

WHEREAS it is enacted in effect amongst other things by section 20 of the Local Government (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923 (hereinafter referred to as "the Act") that I, the Minister for Local Government, may by Order, apply to any public body established under or in pursuance of the Act or any County Scheme any existing enactment relating to county or district councils or boards of guardians with such modification as I shall deem necessary:

AND WHEREAS under section 21 of the Act the expression "existing enactments" means enactments in force in Saorstát Eireann at the date of the passing of the Act and the word "enactment" includes orders, rules and regulations:

AND WHEREAS article 12 of the schedule to the Local Government (Application of Enactments) Order, 1898, is an existing enactment, within the meaning of section 20 of the Act.

NOW THEREFORE I, the Minister for Local Government, in pursuance of section 20 of the Act and in exercise of all powers in this behalf enabling me, do by this my Order, order as follows:—

Article 12 of the schedule to the Local Government (Application of Enactments) Order, 1898, shall apply to a County Board of Health established under a county scheme in like manner as it applies to a board of guardians.
