HAY AND STRAW (MOVEMENT FROM GREAT BRITAIN TO THE IRISH FREE STATE) ORDER OF 1923, AMENDMENT ORDER.

THE Department of Agriculture and Technical Instruction, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in them under the joint operation of the Agriculture and Technical Instruction (Ireland) Act, 1899, and of the Diseases of Animals Acts, 1894 to 1914, and of every other power enabling them in this behalf, do, with the concurrence of the Minister for Agriculture of the Irish Free State, hereby order:—

1 Prohibition of Landing of Hay or Straw.

1. Unless and until the Department otherwise order, the Hay and Straw (Movement from Great Britain to the Irish Free State) Order of 1923, shall be read and have effect as if Article 2 (a) and (b) of that Order were omitted therefrom.

2 Commencement.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the seventh day of January, 1924.

3 Short Title.

3. This Order may be cited as the Hay and Straw (Movement from Great Britain to the Irish Free State) Order of 1923, Amendment Order.

In witness whereof the Department of Agriculture and Technical Instruction have hereunto set their Official Seal this twenty-second day of December, nineteen hundred and twenty-three.
