INSURANCE COMMITTEES AMENDMENT REGULATIONS (No. 3), 1923.

REGULATIONS, DATED 12TH OCTOBER, 1923, MADE BY THE IRISH INSURANCE COMMISSIONERS, WITH THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MINISTER FOR FINANCE, AMENDING THE NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE (INSURANCE COMMITTEES) CONSOLIDATED REGULATIONS (IRELAND) 1916.

The Irish Insurance Commissioners, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the National Health Insurance Acts, 1911 to 1923, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf. do hereby, with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance, make the following Regulations :—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Insurance (Insurance Committees) Amendment Regulations (No 3), 1923, and shall be read with Part VI. of the National Health Insurance (Insurance Committees) Consolidated Regulations (Ireland), 1916, (hereinafter referred to as the " Principal Regulations ").

2. Article 41 of the Principal Regulations is hereby revoked and all sums which at the date of the making of these Regulations are standing to the credit or debit of the General Purposes Fund in the books of an Insurance Committee pursuant to the said Article shall forthwith be transferred in such books to the credit or debit, as the case may be, of the Administration Fund of that Committee.

3. From and after the date of the making of these Regulations all sums which are directed by clause (1) of the said Article 41 of the Principal Regulations to be carried to the credit of the General Purposes Fund in the books of a Committee shall, in lieu of being carried to the credit of that Fund, be carried to the credit of the Administration Fund in the books of that Committee.

4. From and after the date of the making of these Regulations all sums which are directed by clause (2) of the said Article 41 of the Principal Regulations to be charged to the General Purposes Fund shall, in lieu of being charged to that Fund, be charged to the Administration Fund.

5. The provisions of the Principal Regulations and the Schedules thereto, shall, so far as inconsistent with these Regulations, cease to have effect.
