SAORSTÁT ÉIREANN. STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1923, No. 22.NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE PAYMENTS TO INSURANCE COMMITTEES AMENDMENT REGULATIONS, 1923.

Regulations dated 6th December, 1923, made by the Irish Insurance Commissioners, with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance, amending the National Health Insurance (Payments to Insurance Committees) Regulations (Ireland), 1914.

The Irish Insurance Commissioners, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the joint operation of Section 65 of the National Insurance Act, 1911, and Section 28 of, and paragraph (F) of the first Schedule to, the National Insurance Act, 1913, and of every other power them in this behalf enabling, do, with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Regulations :—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Insurance (Payments to Insurance Committees) Amendment Regulations, 1923, and shall be read with the National Health Insurance (Payments to Insurance Committees) Regulations (Ireland), 1914, (hereinafter referred to as " the Principal Regulations ").

2. The total of the sums credited in respect of each year to the General Administration Fund shall be apportioned by the Commissioners amongst the several Insurance Committees in such manner as will enable each Committee to meet the expenses of administration properly incurred by that Committee.

3. Any unexpended balance in the General Administration Fund at the end of any year shall be carried forward to the credit of that Fund and shall be available, if required, for apportionment amongst Committees in respect of the next succeeding year.

4. The provisions of the Principal Regulations shall so far as they are inconsistent with these Regulations cease to have effect.

5. These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into force and to have effect as on and from the first day of January, 1923.
