41. In respect of any legacy, residue, or share of residue payable out of, or consisting of any estate or effects according to the value whereof duty shall have been paid on the affidavit or inventory or account in conformity with this Act, the duty at the rate of one pound per centum imposed by the Stamp Act, 1815, shall not be payable;

And in respect of any succession to property according to the value whereof duty shall have been paid on the affidavit or inventory or account in conformity with this Act, the duty at the rate of one pound per centum imposed by the Succession Duty Act, 1853, shall not be payable.
