Additional land required for extraordinary purposes.

20. The undertakers, in addition to the lands authorised to be compulsorily taken by them under the powers of the special Act, may contract with any party willing to sell the same for the purchase of any lands adjoining or near to the undertaking for extraordinary purposes; (that it is to say,)

For making and providing additional yards, wharfs, and places for receiving, depositing, and loading or unloading goods, and for the erection of weighing machines, toll houses, offices, warehouses, sheds, and other buildings and conveniences:

For making convenient roads to the harbour, dock, or pier, of any other purpose which may be requisite or convenient for the formation or use thereof.
