Patronage and Presentation.
|
XIII. And be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That the right of patronage of the said rectories, and of presentation to the said two churches on the avoidance of each of them respectively by the death, cession, resignation, or removal of the respective incumbents, hereby appointed for the same, or their successors respectively, shall belong unto the said dean and chapter of the cathedral church of the Holy Trinity, Dublin, commonly called Christ Church, and their successors for ever, in such manner as the nomination or presentation to the rectory of the present parish of Saint Mary did belong to them, and no otherwise.
