No devise of lands before this act to be of greater force than if this act not made.

XIX. Provided also, that no last will or testament, whereby any lands or tenements have before the making of this act been given or devised, shall be of any greater or other force or effect than the same would have been, if this act had not been made; any thing before contained to the contrary notwithstanding.
