Repeals and consequential provisions. |
2.—(1) Subsection (3) of section 1 of the Road Fund (Advances) Act, 1926 , and section 3 of the Road Fund (Grants and Advances) (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1959 , are hereby repealed. | |
(2) Any amount which, immediately before the commencement of this subsection, stood not repaid in respect of any sum advanced under section 1 of the Road Fund (Advances) Act, 1926 , or section 3 of the Road Fund (Grants and Advances) (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1959 , shall, together with the interest then accrued due on such amount, be treated as a non-repayable grant. | ||
(3) Subsections (1) and (2) of this section shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1962. |
