*Illicit Distillation (Ireland) Act, 1857. : The reference in 62/1924, s. 30, is to "the Spirits (Ireland) Act, 1857." There is no statute having that short title, and reference is apparently intended to the statute 20 & 21 Vic., c. 40, to which the short title cited in the Table was given by the Short Titles Act, 1896 (59 & 60 Vic., c. 14).
