The Government, on the request of the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Justice, Home Affairs and Migration (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No.2) Order 2025. | ||
2. The powers (other than the power to prosecute an offence) and duties of the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration conferred on him by or under the provisions of the Immigration Act 2004 (No. 1 of 2004) specified in the Schedule are delegated to Colm Brophy, Minister of State at the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration. | ||

(a) Subsections (5), (6), (7), (8), (9) and (10) of section 6 | ||
(b) Subsection (5) of section 9 | ||
(c) Subsections (1) and (2) of section 10 | ||
(d) Section 17 | ||
(e) Section 19, in so far as it relates to the prescribing of fees under that section | ||
