I, JENNIFER CARROLL MACNEILL, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Regulated Professions (Health and Social Care) (Amendment) Act 2023 (No. 14 of 2023), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Regulated Professions (Health and Social Care) (Amendment) Act 2023 (Section 6) (Commencement) Order 2025. | ||
2. The 6th day of May 2025 is appointed as the day on which section 6 of the Regulated Professions (Health and Social Care) (Amendment) Act 2023 (No. 14 of 2023) shall come into operation. | ||

EXPLANATORY NOTE | ||

This Order appoints the 6th May 2025 as the day on which section 6 of the Regulated Professions (Health and Social Care) (Amendment) Act 2023 (No. 14 of 2023) comes into operation. | ||
This section amends the Medical Practitioners Act 2007 and relates to immunity from prosecution for certain cohorts of persons performing functions under the Act. |
