S.I. No. 98/2023 - Control of Fishing for Salmon (Amendment) Order 2023


Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 10th March, 2023.

I, EAMON RYAN, Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 29 of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act 1962 (No. 31 of 1962) and the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 1977 ( S.I. No. 30 of 1977 ) (as adapted by the Communications, Climate Action and Environment (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2020 ( S.I. No. 373 of 2020 )), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Fishing for Salmon (Amendment) Order 2023.

2. In this Order “Order of 2021” means the Control of Fishing for Salmon Order 2021 (S.I. No 102 2021).

3. The Order of 2021 is amended –

(a) by the substitution of Schedule 1 to this Order for Schedule 1 to the Order of 2021, and

(b) by the substitution of Schedule 2 to this Order for Schedule 2 to the Order of 2021.
