S.I. No. 390/2023 - Communications (Retention of Data) (Amendment) Act 2022 (Commencement) (No.2) Order 2023

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 4th August, 2023.

I, HELEN MCENTEE, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 11 (2) of the Communications (Retention of Data) (Amendment) Act 2022 (No. 25 of 2022), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Communications (Retention of Data) (Amendment) Act 2022 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order 2023.

2. The 1st day of August 2023 is appointed as the day on which the Communications (Retention of Data) (Amendment) Act 2022 (No. 25 of 2022), insofar as it is not already in operation, shall come into operation.
