S.I. No. 388/2023 - Energy (Windfall Gains in the Energy Sector) (Temporary Solidarity Contribution) Act 2023 (Commencement) Order 2023

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 4th August, 2023.

I, EAMON RYAN, Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Energy (Windfall Gains in the Energy Sector) (Temporary Solidarity Contribution) Act 2023 (No. 23 of 2023), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Energy (Windfall Gains in the Energy Sector) (Temporary Solidarity Contribution) Act 2023 (Commencement) Order 2023.

2. The 2nd day of August 2023 is appointed as the day on which the Energy (Windfall Gains in the Energy Sector) (Temporary Solidarity Contribution) Act 2023 (No. 23 of 2023) shall come into operation.
