S.I. No. 304/2023 - Communications Regulation and Digital Hub Development Agency (Amendment) Act 2023 (Regulatory Provisions) Regulations 2023

I, EAMON RYAN, Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 60 (1)(d) of the Communications Regulation and Digital Hub Development Agency (Amendment) Act 2023 (No. 4 of 2023), hereby make the following regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Communications Regulation and Digital Hub Development Agency (Amendment) Act 2023 (Regulatory Provisions) Regulations 2023.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on 10 June 2023.

2. The following provisions are regulatory provisions for the purposes of Part 7 of the Communications Regulation and Digital Hub Development Agency (Amendment) Act 2023 (No. 4 of 2023):

(a) Regulations 7 to 15, 29 and 30 of the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Privacy and Electronic Communications) Regulations 2011 ( S.I. No. 336 of 2011 );

(b) Regulation 4 of the European Union (Retail Charges for Regulated Intra-EU Communications) Regulations 2020 ( S.I. No. 668 of 2020 );

(c) Regulations 4 and 8 of the European Union (Open Internet Access) Regulations 2019 ( S.I. No. 343 of 2019 );

(d) Regulation 10 of the European Communities (Mobile Telephone Roaming) Regulations 2022 ( S.I. No. 315 of 2022 ).
