S.I. No. 79/2022 - Criminal Procedure Act 2021 (Commencement) Order 2022

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 25th February, 2022.

I, HELEN MCENTEE, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Criminal Procedure Act 2021 (No. 7 of 2021), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Procedure Act 2021 (Commencement) Order 2022.

2. The 28th day of February 2022 is appointed as the day on which the Criminal Procedure Act 2021 (No. 7 of 2021) shall come into operation.
