S.I. No. 687/2022 - Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2022 (Section 9(2)) (Amount of Financial Contribution) Order 2022

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

I, RODERIC O’GORMAN, Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2) of section 9 of the Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2022 (No. 19 of 2022), with the consent of the Minister for Social Protection and the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, having had regard to the likely effect of the amount to be specified in the following order on the matters specified in paragraphs (a) to (c) of subsection (3) of that section, hereby make the following order, with respect to which, pursuant to subsection (4) of that section, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving the draft has been passed by each such House:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2022 (Section 9(2)) (Amount of Financial Contribution) Order 2022.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on 1 December 2022.

2. In this Order, “Act of 2022” means the Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2022 (No. 19 of 2022).

3. The amount of €800 is specified for the purposes of section 9(1)(b) of the Act of 2022.
