Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 13th May, 2022.

I, PASCHAL DONOHOE, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 19 (2) of the Consumer Protection (Regulation of Retail Credit and Credit Servicing Firms) Act 2022 (No. 5 of 2022), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Consumer Protection (Regulation of Retail Credit and Credit Servicing Firms) Act 2022 (Commencement) Order 2022.

2. The 16th day of May 2022 is appointed as the day on which the Consumer Protection (Regulation of Retail Credit and Credit Servicing Firms) Act 2022 (No. 5 of 2022) shall come into operation.
