I, EAMON RYAN, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) and for the purpose of giving effect to Article 15(1) of Directive 2014/45/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 3 April 20141 , hereby make the following regulations: | ||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Roadworthiness Testing) (National Contact Point) Regulations 2021. | ||
2. The Road Safety Authority is designated as the national contact point in the State responsible for exchanging information with the other Member States and the European Commission with regard to the application of Directive 2014/45/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 3 April 20141 . | ||
