S.I. No. 758/2020 - National Cultural Institutions Act 1997 (Amendment of First Schedule) Order 2020


Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 12th February, 2021.

The Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 16 (3) of the National Cultural Institutions Act 1997 (No. 11 of 1997) and the Arts and Culture (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2002 ( S.I. No. 302 of 2002 ) (as adapted by the Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2020 ( S.I. No. 403 of 2020 )), with the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform and after consultation with the Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland, hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the National Cultural Institutions Act 1997 (Amendment of First Schedule) Order 2020.

2. The First Schedule to the National Cultural Institutions Act 1997 (No. 11 of 1997) is amended -

(a) in column (2), opposite the mention of the Board of the National Library of Ireland in column (1), by the insertion of the following premises:

“That part of the premises known as Iron Mountain (Ireland) Services Limited, Damastown Rise, Damastown Industrial Estate, Dublin 15, D15 R250, occupied by the National Library of Ireland.

That part of the premises known as Glenbeigh Records Management Limited, Damastown Way, Damastown Business Park, Dublin 15, D15 X9DP, occupied by the National Library of Ireland.”,

and

(b) in column (2), opposite the mention of the Board of the National Museum of Ireland in column (1), by the insertion of the following premises:

“The premises known as Collections Resource Centre, Swords, County Dublin, occupied by the National Museum of Ireland.”.

The Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform consents to the making of the foregoing Order.
