Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 2nd January, 2018.

I, CHARLES FLANAGAN, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 4 and 21 of the National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Act 2012 (No. 47 of 2012), hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Act 2012 (Section 21) (Prescribed Period) (Amendment) Regulations 2017.

2. The National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Act 2012 (Section 21) (Prescribed Period) Regulations 2016 ( S.I. No. 223 of 2016 ) are amended in Regulation 2 by the substitution of “30 April 2018” for “31 December 2017”.
