S.I. No. 528/2017 - Food Hygiene (Revocation of Certain Provisions) Regulations 2017

I, CATHERINE BYRNE, Minister of State at the Department of Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 5 and 54 (inserted by section 25 of the Irish Medicines Board (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 (No. 3 of 2006)) of the Health Act 1947 (No. 28 of 1947) (as adapted by the Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2017 ( S.I. No. 364 of 2017 ) and the Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 455 of 2011 )) and the Health (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 4) Order 2017 ( S.I. No. 339 of 2017 ), after consultation with the Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation and the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Food Hygiene (Revocation of Certain Provisions) Regulations 2017.

2. Paragraphs (21) and (22) of Regulation 25 of the Food Hygiene Regulations ( S.I. No. 205 of 1950 ) are revoked.

The purpose of these Regulations is to revoke paragraphs (21) and (22) of Regulation 25 of the Food Hygiene Regulations 1950 ( S.I. No. 205 of 1950 ).

These Regulations may be cited as the Food Hygiene (Revocation of Certain Provisions) Regulations 2017.
