S.I. No. 164/2017 - Industrial and Provident Societies (Notice of Petition for Appointment of an Examiner to an Industrial and Provident Society) (Fee) Regulations 2017.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 28th April, 2017.

I, MARY MITCHELL O’CONNOR, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 73 (1) of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1893 (56 & 57 Vict., c. 39) and section 2 of the Registry of Friendly Societies Act 1936 (No. 51 of 1936) (as adapted by the Enterprise, Trade and Innovation (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 245 of 2011 )), and with the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform as required by section 3 of the Registry of Friendly Societies Act 1936 (as adapted by the Finance (Transfer of Department Administration and Ministerial Functions Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 418 of 2011 )), hereby make the following regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Industrial and Provident Societies (Notice of Petition for Appointment of an Examiner to an Industrial and Provident Society) (Fee) Regulations 2017.

(2) These Regulations come into operation on 1 May 2017.

2. The amount of €15 is determined as the fee to be paid to the Registrar of Friendly Societies for a Notice of Petition for Appointment of an Examiner to an Industrial and Provident Society.

The Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform consents to the making of the foregoing Regulations.

The purpose of these Regulations is to set the prescribed fee to be charged upon notification to the Registrar of Friendly Societies of the Notice of Petition for appointment of an Examiner to an Industrial and Provident Society.
