S.I. No. 362/2016 - Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015 (Designated Public Officials) Regulations 2016.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 15th July, 2016.

I, PASCHAL DONOHOE, Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 4 and 6 (2) of the Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015 (No. 5 of 2015), and having had regard to the matters specified in section 6(3) of that Act, hereby make the following regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015 (Designated Public Officials) Regulations 2016.

(2) These Regulations come into operation on 1 September 2016.

2. A public servant in Cork County Council, in a position of Divisional Manager, is prescribed as a designated public official for the purposes of section 6 (1)(f) of the Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015 (No. 5 of 2015).
