S.I. No. 199/2015 - Housing Assistance Payment (Section 50) Regulations 2015.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 22nd May, 2015.

I, ALAN KELLY, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 4 and 50 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 (No. 21 of 2014), hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Housing Assistance Payment (Section 50) Regulations 2015.

2. Part 4 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 (No. 21 of 2014) shall be applied by Donegal County Council from 25 May 2015 in respect of all classes of qualified households.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation)

For the purpose of facilitating the phased introduction of the new Housing Assistance Payment scheme under the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 , these Regulations provide that Part 4 of the Act will be applied by Donegal County Council from 25 May 2015 in respect of all classes of qualified household.
