I, MICHAEL NOONAN, Minister for Finance, pursuant to and in accordance with the obligation and duty imposed upon me by Section 4 of the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Act, 2013 (No. 2 of 2013), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Act, 2013 (Special Liquidation) Order 2013. | ||
2. Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Limited (the “Company”) shall by this Order be wound- up under the provisions of the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Act, 2013 (the “Act”). | ||
3. Kieran Wallace of KPMG, 1 Stokes Place, St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2 and Eamonn Richardson of the same firm are by this Order appointed as joint Special Liquidators of the Company and that: | ||
(a) each of the said joint Special Liquidators shall be at liberty to act immediately in such capacity; | ||
(b) each power and duty conferred and imposed upon a special liquidator by the Act may be exercised and fulfilled by either or both of the joint Special Liquidators, acting jointly or individually; and | ||
(c) any act required or authorised by the Act to be done by a special liquidator pursuant to the Act may be done by either or both of the joint Special Liquidators, acting jointly or individually. | ||
