S.I. No. 466/2012 - Greyhound Race Track (Totalisator) (Percentage Deduction) Regulations, 2012.


Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 30th November, 2012.

Bord na gCon, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by subsection (2) of section 40 of the Greyhound Industry Act 1958 (No. 12 of 1958), and with the consent of the Minister of State for Agriculture Food and the Marine, hereby makes the following regulations, that is to say:

(1) The Greyhound Race Track (Totalisator) (Percentage Deduction) Regulations, 2008 (No. 518 of 2008) are hereby revoked.

(2) The percentage deduction on all totalisator pools operated by the Board shall be not less than 10% and not greater than 30% of the monies staked on each pool.

(3) These regulations may be cited as the Greyhound Race Track (Totalisator) (Percentage Deduction) Regulations, 2012.

(4) These regulations shall come into operation on 14th day of November 2012.
