S.I. No. 487/2011 - Company Law Enforcement Act 2001 (Section 110) (Commencement) Order 2011.

I, RICHARD BRUTON, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Company Law Enforcement Act 2001 (No. 28 of 2001) (as adapted by the Enterprise, Trade and Innovation (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 245 of 2011 )), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Company Law Enforcement Act 2001 (Section 110) (Commencement) Order 2011.

2. The 10th day of October 2011 is fixed as the day on which section 110 of the Company Law Enforcement Act 2001 (No. 28 of 2001) shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.)

This Order fixes 10 October 2011 as the date on which section 110 of the Company Law Enforcement Act 2001 comes into operation. Section 110 allows for the provision of certain information to juries in a trial on indictment of an offence under the Companies Acts.
