S.I. No. 124/2011 - Intoxicating Liquor Act 2003 (Section 21) (Semple Stadium, Thurles) Regulations 2011.

I, JIMMY DEENIHAN, Minister for Tourism, Culture and Sport in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 21 of the Intoxicating Liquor Act 2003 (No. 31 of 2003) (as adapted by the Arts, Sport and Tourism (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2010 ( S.I. No. 178 of 2010 )) make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Intoxicating Liquor Act 2003 (Section 21) (Semple Stadium, Thurles) Regulations 2011.

2. In these Regulations “Act of 2003” means the Intoxicating Liqour Act 2003 (No. 31 of 2003).

3. The stadium, known as Semple Stadium, situated at Thurles in the county of North Tipperary is designated as a national sporting arena.

4. The areas indicated by the colour red on the maps of the designated national sporting arena referred to in Regulation 3 set out in Schedule 1 are prescribed for the purposes of paragraph (a) of section 21(4) of the Act of 2003.

5. The areas indicated by the colour blue on the maps of the designated national sporting arena referred to in Regulation 3 set out in Schedule 2 are prescribed for the purposes of paragraph (b) of section 21(4) of the Act of 2003.
