Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 6th April, 2010.

I, BRIAN COWEN, Taoiseach, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 35 of the National Economic and Social Development Act 2006 (No. 21 of 2006), after consultation with the National Economic and Social Development Office and any relevant Minister of the Government, hereby make the following order with respect to which, pursuant to section 4 of that Act, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving of the draft has been passed by each such House:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the National Economic and Social Forum and National Centre for Partnership and Performance Dissolution Order 2010.

(2) This Order comes into operation on 1 April 2010.

2. The National Economic and Social Forum and the National Centre for Partnership and Performance are dissolved.

3. A member of the staff of the National Economic and Social Development Office appointed under section 42(2)(b), to serve in the Forum, section 42(2)(c), to serve in the Centre, or section 26(5), to serve in either of those bodies, of the National Economic and Social Development Office Act 2006 (No. 21 of 2006), is appointed to serve in the National Economic and Social Council.
