Orders to make payment for benefit of child.
|
62.— Where an adoption order is made under this Act, then—
|
|
| |
(a) any order under which the birth parent of the child is required to make payments specifically for the benefit of the child, and
|
|
| |
(b) any agreement whereby the birth parent of the child has undertaken to make payments specifically for the benefit of the child,
|
|
| |
ceases to have effect, but without prejudice to the recovery of any arrears due under the order or agreement at the date of the adoption order.
