ISLAND CONNECTING BUS PASSENGER SERVICES (CENTRES OF POPULATION) REGULATIONS 2008 | ||

I, ÉAMON Ó CUÍV, Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 2(4) of the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs (Powers and Functions) Act 2003 (No. 39 of 2003) as amended by section 5 of the Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2007 (No. 32 of 2007) with the consent of the Minister for Finance and the Minister for Transport, hereby make the following regulations: | ||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Island Connecting Bus Passenger Services (Centres of Population) Regulations 2008. | ||
2. Each of the following places is specified, for the purposes of section 4(2)(b)(i) of the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs (Powers and Functions) Act 2003 (No. 39 of 2003) as amended by section 5 of the Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2007 (No. 32 of 2007), as a centre of population within a radius of 120 kilometres of the terminus of a subsidised ferry or air service between the islands and the mainland: | ||
(a) Ballycroy, Co. Mayo, | ||
(b) Acaill, Co. Mayo. | ||
The Minister for Finance consents to the making of the foregoing Regulations. | ||
