JUSTICE, EQUALITY AND LAW REFORM (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER 2008

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 1st July, 2008.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2008.

2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform conferred on him by or under the Children Act 2001 (No. 24 of 2001) are delegated to Barry Andrews, Minister of State at the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform.
