I, NOEL DEMPSEY, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5 of Local Government Services (Corporate Bodies) Act 1971 (No. 6 of 1971) and the National Roads and Road Traffic (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2002 ( S.I. No. 298 of 2002 ) (as adapted by the Public Enterprise (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2002 ( S.I. No. 305 of 2002 )), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the National Safety Council Dissolution Order 2007. | ||
2. The following are revoked: | ||
(a) the National Safety Council (Establishment) Order 1987 ( S.I. No. 327 of 1987 ), and | ||
(b) the National Safety Council (Establishment) Order 1987 (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 1999 ( S.I. No. 360 of 1999 ), | ||
and, accordingly, the National Safety Council is dissolved. | ||
