REGIONAL FISHERIES BOARDS (POSTPONEMENT OF ELECTIONS) ORDER 2007 | ||

I, EAMON RYAN, Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 15(1) of the Fisheries Act 1980 (No. 1 of 1980), and the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 1977 ( S.I. No. 30 of 1977 ) (as adapted by the Communications, Marine and Natural Resources (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2007 ( S.I. No. 706 of 2007 )), hereby make the following order with respect to which, pursuant to subsection (4) of that section, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving of the draft has been passed by each such House: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Regional Fisheries Boards (Postponement of Elections) Order 2007. | ||
2. The year 2008 is fixed as the year in which the elections of members of regional boards (which, but for this Article, would fall to be held in the year 2007) shall be held. | ||
