I, Noel Dempsey, Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), for the purpose of giving further effect to Council Directive 91/67/EEC of 28 January 19911 (as amended by Council Directive 95/22/EEC of 22 June 19952 ) and Council Directive 93/53/EEC of 24 June 19933 , hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Aquaculture Animals and Fish) (Placing on the Market and Control of Certain Diseases) (Amendment) Regulations 2006. 2. The European Communities (Aquaculture Animals and Fish) (Placing on the Market and Control of Certain Diseases) Regulations 1996 ( S.I. No. 253 of 1996 ) are amended - | ||||||
(a) in Schedule 11, by inserting after Area 6 Lough Foyle the following Area: | ||||||
“Area 7” | ||||||
Lough Swilly | ||||||
“That part of Lough Swilly bounded by the high water mark and enclosed by a line drawn in a easterly direction from the easterly point of the high water mark at Fanad Head in the townland of Arryheernabin, barony of Kilmacrenan, County of Donegal to the most westerly point of the high water mark at Dunaff Head in the townland of Dunaff, barony of Inishowen East, County Donegal.” | ||||||
