I, Mary Coughlan, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 21(5)(a) of the Agriculture (Research, Training and Advice) Act 1988 (No. 18 of 1988) (as adapted by the Agriculture, Food and Rural Development (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2002 ( S.I. No. 308 of 2002 )), hereby order as follows-

1.         This Order may be cited as the Agriculture (Research, Training and Advice Act 1988 (Transfer of property) Order 2006.

2.         The property described in the Schedule is transferred to Teagasc - The Agricultural and Food Development Authority.

Schedule

All that part of the lands in the townland of Newford, Barony of Athenry, Co. Galway more particularly described at entry number 2 on part 1 of Land Registry Folio Number 30832F of the Register County Galway, being the property shown as Plan Number 6 on the Land Registry map for that Folio.

This Statutory Instrument gives effect to the Minister for Agriculture and Food decision to transfer lands situated at Newford, Athenry, County Galway and registered on Folio 30832F to Teagasc - The Agricultural and Food Development Authority.
