S.I. No. 328/2005 - Safety, Health and Welfare At Work Act 2005 (Commencement) Order 2005

STATUTORY INSTRUMENTS.

I, Tony Killeen, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 (No. 10 of 2005) and the Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2005 ( S.I. No. 316 of 2005 ) hereby order as follows:

1.        This Order may be cited as the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 (Commencement) Order 2005.

2.        The 1 September 2005 is appointed as the day on which the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 , except the provisions of section 4(2) other than as that subsection applies to the repeal of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 1989 (No 7 of 1989) shall come into operation.
