S.I. No. 241/2004 - European Communities (Import From Third Countries of Star Anise) Regulations 2002 (Revocation) Regulations 2004
I, MICHEÁL MARTIN, Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), having regard to Council Directive 93/43/EEC1 of 14 June 1993, on the hygiene of foodstuffs, and Commission Regulation 194/972 of 31 January 1997 setting maximum levels for certain contaminants in foodstuffs, as last amended by Regulation 1566/19993 setting maximum levels for contaminants in foodstuffs and in particular aflatoxins in foodstuffs, and for the purposes of giving full effect to Commission Decision of 1 February 2002 laying down special conditions on the import from third countries of star anise (2002/75/EC4 ) as revoked by Commission Decision of 12 August 2003 (2003/602/EC5 ) repealing Decision 2002/75/EC laying down special conditions on the import from third countries of star anise, hereby make the following Regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Import from Third Countries of Star Anise) Regulations 2002 (Revocation) Regulations 2004. 2. The European Communities (Import from Third Countries of Star Anise) Regulations 2002 ( S.I. No. 80 of 2002 ) are revoked. | ||||||

These Regulations give effect to Commission Decision 2003/602/EC of 12 August 2003 repealing Decision 2002/75/EC laying down special conditions on the import from third countries of star anise. These Regulations revoke S.I. No. 80 of 2002 on the import from third countries of star anise. | ||||||
These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Import from Third Countries of Star Anise) Regulations 2002 (Revocation) Regulations 2004. | ||||||
