S.I. No. 544/2002 - Company Law Enforcement Act 2001 (Section 58) Regulations 2002

I, Mary Harney, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 of the Company Law Enforcement Act 2001 (No. 28 of 2001) hereby make the following regulations:

1.         These Regulations may be cited as the Company Law Enforcement Act 2001 (Section 58) Regulations 2002.

2.         These Regulations come into operation on 1 December 2002.

3.         The following professional bodies are prescribed for the purposes of section 58 of the Company Law Enforcement Act 2001 (No. 28 of 2001) -

(a)        the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland,

(b)        the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland,

(c)        the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants,

(d)        the Institute of Incorporated Public Accountants,

(e)        the Law Society of Ireland,

(f)         the Institute of Taxation in Ireland, and

(g)        the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
