S.I. No. 369/2001 - European Communities (Authorised Agencies) (Issue of Certificates of Origin) (Amendment) Regulations, 2001

I, Mary Harney, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), and for the purpose of giving full effect to Commission Regulation (EEC) No. 2454/93 of 2 July 1993, hereby make the following regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Authorised Agencies) (Issue of Certificates of Origin) (Amendment) Regulations, 2001.

(2) The Principal Regulations and these Regulations may be cited together as the European Communities (Authorised Agencies) (Issue of Certificates of Origin) Regulations, 1998 and 2001.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on 31 July 2001.

3. In these Regulations “Principal Regulations” means the European Communities (Authorised Agencies) (Issue of Certificates of Origin) Regulations, 1998 ( S.I. No.318 of 1998 ).,

4.  The Schedule to the Principal Regulations is amended by the insertion after “Sligo Chamber of Commerce” of “Swords Fingal Chamber of Commerce”.

The effect of these Regulations is to add Swords Fingal Chamber of Commerce to the schedule of agencies in the 1998 Regulations which are authorised to issue certificates of origin.
