Review of Development Plan.

14.—(1) In each financial year a vocational education committee shall in respect of the preceding financial year—

(a) cause an examination to be made of—

(i) the implementation of its Development Plan,

(ii) the effect and efficiency of the youth work programmes and youth work services provided within its vocational education area,

(iii) the treatment of male and female young persons, respectively, in relation to access to youth work, and

(iv) the numbers of male and female young persons, respectively, who participated in the youth work programmes and youth work services provided within its vocational education area,

and

(b) cause an evaluation to be made of the youth work programmes and youth work services provided within its vocational education area in relation to the matters specified in the Development Plan and the co-ordination of the services under this Act with other youth services in the area in relation to those matters and otherwise,

and shall set out the comments in respect of each of the matters specified in paragraphs (a) and (b) in a Youth Work Report (in this section referred to as the “Annual Report”) and submit the Annual Report to the Minister.

(2) The Minister may issue directions to a vocational education committee in relation to the preparation of the Annual Report and the vocational education committee shall comply with the directions.

(3) A vocational education committee shall consult with the youth work committee in relation to the preparation of its Annual Report.
