S.I. No. 191/2000 - Údarás na Gaeltachta (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1999 (Commencement) Order, 2000.

I, SÍLE DE VALERA, T.D., Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 19 (2) of the Údarás na Gaeltachta (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1999 (No. 27 of 1999), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Údarás na Gaeltachta (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1999 (Commencement) Order, 2000.

2. The 1st day of July, 2000, is hereby appointed as the day on which sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 17(c) and 18, in so far as it provides for the repeal of section 10 (3) of the Údarás na Gaeltachta Act, 1979 (No. 5 of 1979), of the Údarás na Gaeltachta (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1999 (No. 27 of 1999), shall come into operation.

This Order brings sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 17(c) and 18, in so far as it provides for the repeal of section 10 (3) of the Údarás na Gaeltachta Act, 1979 (No. 5 of 1979), of the Údarás na Gaeltachta (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1999 (No. 27 of 1999), into operation on 1 July 2000.
