S.I. No. 153/2000 - European Communities (Protective Measures With Regards To Contamination by Dioxins in Belgian Foodstuffs) (Revocation) Regulations, 2000.


I, MICHEÁL MARTIN, Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Protective measures with regards to contamination by dioxins in Belgian foodstuffs) (Revocation) Regulations, 2000.

2. The European Communities (Protective measures with regards to contamination by dioxins in Belgian foodstuffs) Regulations, 1999 ( S.I. No. 185 of 1999 ) are hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of these Regulations is to revoke the European Communities (Protective measures with regards to contamination by dioxins in Belgian foodstuffs) Regulations, 1999.

Commission Decision 2000/301/EC of 18 April 2000 effectively repeals all previous Commission Decisions on protective measures with regard to contamination by dioxins of certain products intended for human or animal consumption.
