S.I. No. 188/1999 - Medicinal Products (Amendment) Regulations, 1999.


The Minister for Health and Children, (as adapted by the Health (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 308 of 1997 )), in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 32 and Section 34 of the Irish Medicines Board Act, 1995 (No. 29 of 1995), hereby makes the following Regulations:—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Medicinal Products (Amendment) Regulations, 1999.

2. All those Regulations as set out in the schedule hereto are hereby amended by the deletion therefrom of the term “medical preparation” wheresoever it appears in any of the said Regulations, other than in the titles thereof, and the substitution therefor of the term “medicinal product”.

SCHEDULE

Medical Preparations (Advertising) Regulations, 1993-1996.

Medical Preparations (Labelling and Package Leaflets) Regulations, 1993-1994.

Medical Preparations (Wholesale Licences) Regulations, 1993-1996.

Medical Preparations (Licensing of Manufacture) Regulations, 1993-1996.

The purpose of these Regulations is to substitute the term “medicinal product” for the term “medical preparation” in the Medical Preparations (Advertising) Regulations. 1993-1996, the Medical Preparations (Labelling and Package Leaflets) Regulations, 1993-1994, the Medical Preparations (Wholesale Licences) Regulations, 1993-1996 and the Medical Preparations (Licensing of Manufacture) Regulations, 1993-1996.
